NTT DoCoMo unveiled the new Fujitsu FOMA F1100 at CEATEC 2007, a slider smartphone targeted at business users.

The device runs on Windows Mobile 6 OS and supports 3G HSDPA network (no GSM). Other features include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi a/b/g connectivity, a 2.6" QVGA screen, numeric keypad, 1.

Many of you probably know that Verizon plans to release the new HTC XV6800 "Titan" smartphone in the near future, only they didn't name the exact date.

Well, just to inform you, according to a recent rumor the handset will be available online starting November 2, and the official launch will take place on November 16.

Verizon Wireless unveiled 4 new business smartphones for the rest of the year:

• Samsung i760: a Windows Mobile 6 based slider with both the numeric keypad and full QWERTY keyboard. Features include stereo Bluetooth, a 1.3Mpixl camera, and EV-DO data. It will be available online starting October 19 for $350 after rebate and new2-year contract.

FCC unveiled some documents of the new Pantech C810 Mustang 3G dual-slider smartphone.

Now we know that the handset supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band WCDMA networks, Bluetooth connectivity, 1.3Mpix camera, and runs on the Windows Mobile 6 Standard OS.

The future carrier is yet unknown, but the C810 is compatible with AT&T's network.

Samsung announced its two new S60-based 3G smartphones today, the SGH-i450 dual music slider and the GPS-enabled SGH-i550. These devices will be showcased at the Symbian Smartphone Show in London on October 16 and 17, 2007.

Both handsets operate on Symbian OS™ v9.2 and S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 1, and support 3G HSDPA (3.

Taiwanese manufacturer Mio has introduced a new GPS-enabled smartphone, called the A502. The device is a successor to the previous A501 model, and comes with the following key features:

• Integrated SiRF Star III GPS receiver with QuickFix (A-GPS) technology;
• TI OMAP 850 CPU at 200MHz;
• 1GB of ROM and 64MB of RAM;

The 8GB version of the Nokia N81 S60-based 3G music smartphone is now available online.

However, we still don't know when the device will appear in stores... Apart from 8GB memory capacity, the handset features:

• Bluetooth 2.

Smartphone manufacturer i-mate introduced its new 201 JAMA smartphone. The device features:

• Tri-band GSM/EDGE;
• Windows Mobile 6 OS;
• 300MHz Samsung CPU;
• 128MB of ROM;
• 2.5" LCD screen;
• Bluetooth;
• 2Mpix camera with AF and flash;
• MicroSD cards;
• Battery life: 4 hours of talk time and 6 days of standby;
• QWERTY keyboard.

BlueBird has presented its new PIDION BM-500 WM5-based CDMA smartphone at the CEBIT event in Hanover, Germany. The handset comes in candy bar form-factor and has an attractive design. The navigation buttons are moved to the left side of the handset, which is quite uncomfortable.

The company has finally released its SGH-i617 smartphone, also known as the Blackjack 2.

The device comes with a QWERTY keyboard, operates on Windows Mobile 6 OS, and packs a multitude of advanced communication and multimedia capabilities.
