Here are some pictures of the new Sony Ericsson P3i smartphone, which is apparently the successor of the recently released P1i.

There is almost no info on P3i's specs and don't expect it to be launched anytime soon. Some of the features include a touch-screen display, support for 3G and Wi-Fi networks, and a 3Mpix camera.

There are rumors saying that Asus is working on a new P series smartphone with GPS functionality. Its specs are already known, but there is no word on pricing and availability. Anyway, we're not even sure if the device is real at all.

Here is a little review of the Toshiba G900 smartphone.

It is a huge device designed mainly for web-browsing and messaging. It has a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard and a 3" (800x480) display, operates on Windows Mobile 6 OS, and provides high-speed web access via HSDPA and Wi-Fi networks.

Sprint introduced the new HTC Mogul CDMA smartphone, the successor to the older Sprint PPC-6700. The Mogul will be available for purchase online and in Sprint business sales channels this week for $399.

The FIC Neo1973 is a Linux-based quad-band GSM/GPRS smartphone, the first device to feature the open-source OpenMoKo platform. It is scheduled to ship for sale in September with a price tag of $350.

The device is controlled entirely by its touch screen. However, it still needs to be worked on. The screen is difficult to use and often doesn't respond to fingertip inputs.

Motorola announced that they are about to release the new Moto Q9 3G HSDPA SmartPhone in Italy this week.
