BlackBerry 9000 Smartphone Coming Soon

RIM plans to launch soon the new BlackBerry 9000, a quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE handset featuring a 480 x 320 resolution screen, QWERTY keyboard, 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi connectivity, and an updated OS.

It should be released sometime between January and April 2008.

We have no idea why it happened, but if you planned to get yourself the 920, we suggest you to choose another similar HTC-based Windows Mobile handset, such as T-Mobile's Shadow, for example.

Five pictures of the new Nokia N96 have recently leaked in the web.

They are nice, but unfortunately as always pop up without any details about the device itself. Basing on images we are able to find just a few specifications.

Well, N96 is a black slider phone, similar to the N81, with a 5Mpix camera with Carl Zeiss optics, a dual LED flash, and external music controls.

Palm wasn't doing very good in 2007

It looks like 2007 turned out to be a bad year for Palm.

Palm is one of the leading smartphone manufacturers, nevertheless the company bore losses as competition in this sector was too rough in the past 12 months and their marketing and product promotion campaigns weren't successful.

Today Palm announced they would soon present their financial report, and that they've delayed the launch of a new handset, which was to be released before Christmas.

A new HTC smartphone was recently spotted at the FCC website.

The device is called the Neon and judging by the image it appears to be yet another variant of the HTC Touch.

In addition, we heard that this handset will soon be launched in Japan through NTT DoCoMo, but this information is yet unconfirmed.

Palm has released an official Windows Mobile 6 update for the AT&T's Palm Treo 750 smartphone.

The new platform will offer users access to AT&T Cellular Video service, as well as functional Voice Command via Bluetooth headset, USB charging, and more.

The device supports UMTS and HSDPA networks.

Wi-Fi-enabled Motorola Q9 Unboxed

BGR made a little review on the Wi-Fi-capable Motorola Q9 smartphone.

The phone they've received was AT&T branded and had with a chrome bezel instead of the dark silver one. Besides the 3G bands (HSDPA 850/1900 MHz) the device also supports Wi-Fi network, which appears to be the main difference of this model from the standard one.
