i-mate announced the i-mate PDAL. This smartphone measures 112mm x 56mm x 17mm which claims to be one of the smallest PDA.

The compact device uses Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 as its operating system and also features a 5-way navigation pad. The i-mate PDAL is equipped with a 2.4” colored touch screen and with a stylus, GPRS, EDGE , high-speed Wi-fi connectivity and Bluetooth.

FIC announces the new Neo1973, a quad-band GSM/GPRS smartphone the first who is using open-source OpenMoKo platform. The device has the 2.8 inch display LCD - an ultra-high resolution touchscreen. The Neo1973 smartphone can be charged via USB connection to a computer. It can also serve as a router for connecting a PC to the internet with its GPRS data connection ability.

HTC Excalibur's version was introduced by T-Mobile USA - the Dash . The Windows Mobile powered device rivals with the Motorola Q and is actually thinner than it and their prices are the same. The Dash will cost $199 with a 2-year service agreement.

NTT DoCoMo jointly developed a new smartphone with HTC which is set to debut later this month. The hTc Z is a Windows Mobile smartphone and will be one of the first devices marketed under the HTC brand (previously the company used OEM deals to have their products branded by other companies).

Samsung announced its launch of the SGH-I320, a new slim QWERTY smartphone measuring just 11.5 mm in depth and 95 g in weight.
