Rogers is ready to release three new RIM smartphones on its GSM network. These include the BlackBerry Curve 8310 in a new soft pink color, the UMA-enabled Pearl 8120 with OS 4.5, and the new Bold. The release date is yet unconfirmed, but the prices are official and are as following:

• Pink BlackBerry Curve - $199 on three years;
• Pearl 8120 - $149 on three years.

According to Akihabara, Toshiba is planning to release its Portege G810 smartphone on June 20th.

Motorola has released the new Q9e phone in the U.S. - the same Q9 model, only without 3G and Wi-Fi.

HTC has officially announced its Touch Pro (former Raphael) today.

It's a QWERTY slider similar to the Touch Diamond, which will be available in Europe in late summer with the U.S. market to follow up shortly after.

E-TEN has officially announced three new glofiish Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphones, which it plans to showcase at Computex this week. They are:

• DX900 - a dual-SIM handset very similar in design to the TV-friendly V900 (this model wa also announced) today;
• X900 - a quad-band GSM smartphone with HSDPA support, as well as Windows Mobile 6.

RoverPC P7 is a new smartphone that was just released in Russia. The device is a successor to the P6 model and has the following features:

• Windows Mobile 6.1;
• Marvell PCA270 416MHz processor;
• 2.8" QVGA touchscreen;
• Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi;
• Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz);
• GPRS/EDGE data;

According to DigiTimes, Hong Kong CSL is about to get the first batch of over 10,000 HTC Touch Diamond smartphones.

Next in line are European / Asia-Pacific operators, which should be receiving the device in June.

But that's all that was mentioned in the report - no info on the availability in the U.S., sorry...

T-Mobile brings new HTC smartphone to Europe under the name "MDA Compact IV".
It has the latest version of HTC's 3D touch interface. Main features are:

• Windows Mobile 6.1;
• HSDPA/HSUPA at speeds of 7.2 Mbps;
• 3.2 Mpix camera with autofocus;
• VGA touch screen;
  
• GPS;
• 4GB of internal memory;
• Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.

Previously HTC planned to have 2 millions of Touch Diamond smartphones sold by the end of the year.

But now Chinese "Commercial Times" reports that according to HTC's CEO Peter Chou, the company expects to sell 3 million units in the next 7 months starting June.
