Alcatel is reportedly readying its first quad-core One Touch Scribe HD smartphone using a MediaTek chip.Unfortunately, we know nothing about that yet, all we have at the moment regarding the device is that the CPU will be clocked at 1 GHz, there’ll be a PowerVR Series5XT GPU humming under the hood, while Jelly Bean will be flavoring the package.

- Sony Xperia T for free

It looks like T-Mobile is preparing to launch a low-end feature phone with full QWERTY keyboard - ZTE F555 aka Wombat.It has been caught at the FCC and from there we learn it’s most likely heading to the T-Mo's prepaid offering.The Wombat also comes with Bluetooth support, 1700MHz 3G and 850/1900MHz GSM/EDGE connectivity, and 2MP camera.

Well, finally we have some more images of the upcoming Huawei trio: Huawei D2, Mate and W1.The Ascend W1 looks much like we've seen from live shots, just with newer black and pink hues; the Ascend D2 now doesn't seem so rainbow-like, but supports what's been claimed of the 5-inch phone's aesthetic and custom interface.And, finally, the Ascend Mate despite representing the company's stand-out device, is the least surprising.

The Xperia Z "Yuga" and ZL "Odin" have made a premature debut on the Japanese tech giant's site on New Year's Day.The Xperia Z shot appears to be in line with earlier leaks, while the ZL is quite more compact variant, possibly squeezing the same hardware into a smaller shell.The devices are rumored to include 5-inch 1080p LCDs, quad-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processors with 2 gigs of RAM and Adreno 320 graphics, along with a 13-megapixel Exmor RS sensor on the rear.
