Acer CloudMobile comes at MWC 2012

The handset on the picture will supposedly be the company’s flagship phone for 2012.It is expected to sport a 4.3” HD display, Dolby sound with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board, and will offer AcerCloud technology, which supposedly “enhances mobile productivity by providing seamless document management”.If this is indeed the company’s upcoming flagship phone for 2012, there is a good chance it will be making an appearance at MWC 2012.

If you’re in the market for a backup phone or a simple phone to give your child, you might want to check out Motorola’s latest offering in the form of the Motorola Gleam+.The Gleam+ features a 2.8” LCD as its main display, and on the outside will sport an external display consisting of 144 LEDs.It comes with a 2MP camera and Bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0 for connectivity, 50MB of default storage which can be expanded by an additional 16GB through a microSD card slot, FM radio capabilities and a 3.

White Galaxy Nexus now in stock and available for shipping

If you were looking to get your hands on the white version of the Galaxy Nexus, you’re in luck as online retailer Negri Electronics apparently has them in stock and is shipping them out to customers.Unfortunately they are priced slightly higher at $659 as opposed to Amazon’s offering of $629.99.It should be noted that this version of the Galaxy Nexus will be a GSM unlocked version of the phone and should be able to work on both AT&T and T-Mobile’s network.

NEC MEDIAS LTE N-04D Android handset is expected to see a launch on Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo and will be available come 15th February 2012. Its pricing has not been revealed yet.It will be an Android 2.3 Gingerbread powered handset with a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm APQ8060 processor under the hood, feature 16GB of internal storage, a 4.3” 720×1280 display, an 8.1MP rear-facing camera, a dust-proof body, water resistant, mobile wallet functionality and with a 1Seg TV tuner on board.

Verizon's Galaxy Nexus Android 4.0.4 ROM leaked

Android 4.0.4 wriggled its way onto the interweb last week, and while it was geared specifically for Sprint's Nexus S 4G, a similar version has just cropped up for the CDMA / LTE Galaxy Nexus from Verizon.First and foremost, the ROM is said to be noticeably faster, with the speed gains also extending to the web browser and the device's boot time. The release also packs a new radio file that (at least from user impressions) offers more seamless transitions between the CDMA and LTE networks.
