The new Sonim devise under the model number XP3400 is making its appearance at FCC. The handset has both GSM and CDMA frequencies. Yet there’ve bin done testing  for just the CDMA, which has given the green light for the sale of the devise in US. 

The new Sonim has 2" Gorilla Glass display, a microSD card up to 8GB, FM radio and  GPS.

The new rugged phone Sonim XP3300 Force is officially announced by Sonim.

It is water/dust, transport shock and thermal shock resistant device.

The Sonim XP3300 Force also has an impressive long talk time which lasts up to 24 hours or a 26 hours GPS connection time for GPS Tracking. Specs:

• 2 inch bright (typ. 280cd/m²) high-resolution display for high visibility • Noise cancelling microphone • GPS • JAVA MIDP 2.

Sonim XP3.20-E Quest / Land Rover S1 Approved by the FCC

FCC has recently approved a new rugged handset from Sonim. The device will be branded Sonim XP3.20-E Quest or the Land Rover S1, and will feature GSM/GPRS/EGPRS 1900MHz support, Bluetooth, embedded camera with flash and Sonim’s rugged good looks. Still no word on release date or pricing, though.

Ultra-Rugged Sonim XP3

The new Sonim XP3 is claimed to be the toughest handset on the market to date. It'll come with a 3-year warranty, and will easily work in temperatures ranging between -4 to 140 F, underwater, and after numerous drops made from the hight of 6-9 feet. The release is scheduled for March, but the price wasn't announced. Specifications include:
