Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson have joined forces to develop a universal flash memory card that can be used in any digital device regardless of manufacturer. It will use the Universal Flash Storage technology, which will make it a lot faster and more efficient, and should appear in 2009.

The new Sony Ericsson W910i has been approved by the FCC and will soon be available for purchase. It is a 3G walkman phone measuring just 99 x 50 x 12.5mm and weighing in at 86 grams, which features HSDPA connectivity to deliver lightning fast data speeds, and offers full Java support. The package includes: 1GB Memory Stick Micro card, battery, charger, USB cable, stereo portable handsfree, and PC sync application.

AT&T has just started offering the Sony Ericsson Z310a cell phone. The device was announced in the end of 2006, and though it has pretty low-tech features, the design is great and may be Z310's main attraction point. The handset comes in Jet Black and Lush Pink colors and has a 65k color STN internal display, a monochrome external display, a VGA camera, and Bluetooth connectivity.
