AT&T has just announced the Sony Ericsson W760a, the first Walkman phone to have access to the carrier's 3G data network. The handset will be available for $129.99 on a two-year agreement, and will have the following specifications:

• Dedicated A and B gaming buttons;
• Integrated accelerometer for shake/tilt interface;
• Support for mobile music apps from AT&T;
• 40MB flash memory;
• Memory Stick Micro card slot;
• 240 x 320 resolution display;
• 3.

According to SEMC blog, the leaked Sony Ericsson phone previously known only as Rika is actually the walkman version of the G705 model, called W705. If that's true, the phone should be announced this month and released in February 2009.

• 3.2Mpix camera;
• Wi-Fi;

Now that's a phone with a truly Japanese look, the new Sony Ericsson SO-01A for NTT DoCoMo. Apparently this model won't leave the borders of Japan, but I sure would like to play with it a bit. Anyway, at the moment we know almost nothing about this handset, but according to the source it does have Google Translator and a full touchscreen. We would also add 3G support to the list.

Sony Ericsson has released an alternative variant of its W595 model, the Orange-branded W595s. Currently the phone is available on the Romanian website, you can also find a few pics of it here. The W595s differs from the original with its customized keypad and buttons.

It's been 8 moths since we've last heart of Sony Ericsson M610i, and after such a long period of time it would be safe to believe that the phone is never coming out. However, the camera-less prototype of it has suddenly appeared on eBay and costs about £88.00. A good choice for office workers. Any takers?

It looks like Best Buy will be getting some interesting phones in the next couple weeks. Among those will be T-Mobile’s G1 and red BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220, Palm Treo Pro, and Sony Ericsson C902. The first two will be added to stock on October 26th, but will become available for purchase starting on November 16th. The Treo Pro should arrive on October 28th, while the C902 should have been announced on September 28th.

Here's a fresh spy pic of the upcoming Sony Ericsson Rika. The phone looks very stylish, and while we have no info on its specifications, its safe to believe that Rika is a Walkman version of the G705 model.

SEMC Blog is the source of a new rumor regarding an upcoming Sony Ericsson Cybershot phone that will supposedly have a 12.1Mpix camera. According to SEMC, the phone will be announced in Q3 2009, and released in Q4 2009. The rumor is pretty much baseless so far, but we're already familiar with several 8Mpix smartphones, so I guess it's ok to believe that a 12Mpix one is coming next.

According to Dick Komiyama, Sony Ericsson president, the company is interested in Android as a mobile platform, but isn't ready to adopt it just yet.

Well, this could very well mean that in the feature we'll see the much desired Android-powered Xperia X1-(A).
