The guy who made this shot was probably drunk... Not only did he photograph only a half of the phone, the picture itself turned out to be all blurry and shaky. But it's something nonetheless... Apparently this is the SE Kate, a new addition to the CyberShot lineup and a replacement for the K770 model.
At the moment we have no other info about the handset, but expect to know more in the nearest future.

They gave no details about its specifications, so besides of the attached photo we have no additional info about the handset.

Check this out: according to Magnus Andersson, product manager of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, the device isn't actually tied to any specific technical platform, such as Windows Mobile, which means in the future we could see it run Symbian or even Android.

30th September 2008 is the official launch date for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, which initially will be available to consumers in the UK, Germany and Sweden, and later in Q4 2008 across other markets across Europe, Asia and Latin America.
List of included countries:
- APAC: Indonesia, Singapore, Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam;
- Western Europe: Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands, Austria, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Portugal;
- Central Europe: Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic;
- Middle East: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait;
- Africa: South Africa;
- Latin America: Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia
Availability dates for North America, China, Australia and Russia along with other countries not mentioned above will be announced by local markets in the coming months.

Sony Ericsson has announced today its new G705 phone, known as the Kumiko.
It will feature a 3.2Mpix camera with LED flash + 3G cam for video calls, HSUPA support, and M2 memory card slot, and will come with a couple of accessories, including the Bluetooth Car Kit HCB-108 and the Digital Photo Frame IDP-100.

T-Mobile has released the Sony Ericsson TM506, its first HSDPA-capable handset. No, the carrier has 3G phones in its lineup, but they all do UMTS at best. The TM506 does HSDPA and is a nice addition to the company's new 3G network. It is available for purchase starting today for $79.99 after rebate on contract.

Sony Ericsson has released the SDK for its upcomig Xperia X1 handset. While it sounds like it won't have any difference from the Windows Mobile 6.1 SDK, this kit will allow developers to create custom interactive panels for the X1’s UI. Later the manufacturer also plans to launch a panel download service, a little similar to the AppStore.
