New Sony Ericsson Z780 Revealed

Thanks to the SEMC Blog, we now know that Sony Ericson is about to announce the new Z780 phone, a Z770i twin with an updated keypad.

XML profiles found on Sony Ericsson's WAP site indicate there will be two versions: Z780i for Europe and Z780a for North America. The latter will support 3G frequencies.

We also know that the handset will feature a 240×320 QVGA display, NetFront 3.

FCC Approves Sony Ericsson G700 Smartphone

FCC has approved a new Sony Ericsson smartphone.

The new G700 model was first unveiled at this year's MWC event in Barcelona and is described as a "touchscreen organizer for the masses".

We don't know if it will make it stateside as you know how it usually happens with SE devices - they pass FCC, but remain unavailable for the U.S. customers.

Sony Ericsson P5 "Paris" Leaked?

Well, judging by the photo, the upcoming Sony Ericsson P5 "Paris" is a slider handset with a large display and a P1-type keypad running Symbian UIQ 3.3 platform.

They say it will be officially announced in May and will start shipping in September. Unfortunately, that's all we can tell you now.

AT&T has just launched Sony Ericsson’s new HSDPA-capable Z750a clamshell phone.

It's not the best one of course, but is still a nice handset with decent features. The price is $50 after a rebate.

It’s called Tangerine Black, and differs from the previous Champagne Black with a orange logo (instead of the gold one).
