We can inform you that Nokia Corp. and L.M. Ericsson won T-Mobile USA Inc.'s third-generation network buildout business as the carrier offers its 22 million subscribers greater data throughput via W-CDMA technology. There are no details about their contract wins. Earlier T-Mobile USA announced it expected to spend about $2.6 billion over two to three years in order to upgrade its network to 3G.

According to the reliable sources the Sony Ericsson is going to launch an ultra-slim, high-end Walkman camera phone as a rival to Motorola's RAZR the device which boost the South Korean firm's handset sales. The new device called “Ai” after tennis player Ai Sugiyama is going to be the sleek candy bar-shaped phone 9.4 millimeters in thickness, slimmer than the RAZR's 14 millimeters.

Sony Ericsson and Fossil unveiled the MBW - 100 Bluetooth Watch. Sony Ericsson provided Bluetooth 2.0 technology for this devive and Fossil supplied with watch technology and design. The MBW - 100 allows users to control calls and music from the watch, users have the possibility to view text message alerts also. When a call comes in, the name or number appears on the OLED watch face.

Cingular has launched the Sony Ericsson W300i. As it was announced earlier, W300i is the first from two Walkman handsets to be added in Cingular's portfolio in near future, the second one is W810 and it is still expected to launch on Cingular shortly.
