Meet the XPERIA X1, a new high-end smartphone from Sony Ericsson. It was presented yesterday at MWC show in Barcelona and has all the chances to become a real hit. There aren't too many details about this handset, but as far as we know it runs on Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional OS and comes with a 3" touch-screen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and a touch-sensitive trackball.

Sony Ericsson unveiled its new Z770 clamshell at Mobile World Congress yesterday. The phone supports tri-band GSM/EDGE and 2100 MHz HSDPA networks, features a 2Mpix camera, FM radio, stereo Bluetooth, and includes Access' NetFront web browser and Google Maps application. A member of the xda-developers forums has developed a notification utility called smartWatchM, which allows for certain data interchange between a Sony Ericsson MBW-150 Watch and Sony Ericsson phones or Windows Mobile based smartphones. For instance, if you receive a message or an incoming phone call, or if you're listening to the music, the corresponding info, such as type of the message received or current song details is displayed on the watch's screen.

Now it includes more than 5 million new, mostly DRM-free tracks from 10 major record labels (Sony BMG, Warner Music Group, EMI, The Orchard, IODA, The PocketGroup, Hungama, X5 Music, Bonnier Amigo, and VidZone), as well as 250 mobile games from the existing partners.
