The Sony Ericsson W705 Walkman has been spotted today in a new Black - Silver color scheme. It will go on sale by the end of February in three colors, adding Luxury Silver and Passionate Red to the one we've just mentioned.

SEMC blog has has posted release dates for two upcoming Sony Ericsson phones - C510 and W705.

The C510 is an entry-level Cyber-shot device, and will apparently be released on February 23rd. On the other hand, the mid-range W705 Walkman model (including its variations W705a, W705u and W715) will start selling a bit later, on February 27th.

Sony Ericsson has released the new CyberShot S001 today, an 8Mpix cameraphone for the Japanese market. Its embedded 8Mpix camera boasts a LED flash, Smile Shutter, Face Recognition technology, Image Stabilization and ISO settings up to 1600.

Aside from that, the device also features GPS, 1Seg TV tuner, a 3.3" OLED display and Bluetooth connectivity.

It will be released on KDDI in Japan this March in black, gold, green, or pink color options.

Sony Ericsson will unveil a new 5Mpix Cyber-Shot phone at MWC next month. It's called C903 Frances and comes with a 5Mpix camera with autofocus, active lens cover and face detection. Other features include A-GPS, 2.4" 240x320 TFT display.

The C903 should be released sometime in Q2 2009. No word on pricing, though.

Apparently, Sony Ericsson has issued a new firmware update for its v1.03.936.6 Xperia X1 handset. It hasn't been announced yet, so we don't have the list of changes at the moment. The update can be installed through Sony Ericsson Update Service. For more details visit XDA-Developers forum.

Apparently these are the shots of the Sony Ericsson W395 Yao we mentioned yesterday. No technical details were unveiled though, so we'll have to wait until WWC comes around to know more about the handset.

The Sony Ericsson Filippa, which has been first spotted a while ago, now has an official name – the C901.

It is a 5Mpix Cyber-shot phone, and should be officially announced on February 15th with the release scheduled at the beginning of April.

T-Mobile has released the stylish Sony Ericsson TM506 Scarlett phone today. it comes in red color scheme and can serve as a nice gift on Valentine's. Check it out.

The new Sony Ericsson W395 Yao is basically a Walkman version of the F305 model. It comes with a 176x220 screen, 2Mpix camera, and will be released in April 2009. They also plan to release am imaging version of the F305 sometime later.

This is yet another cool concept phone that will never see the light of day, the Sony Ericsson Nan. As you see it comes in a slider form-factor available in black and white variants, runs Android and has a large touchscreen display. We presume it also supports some 3G network, like HSDPA for instance, and offers dedicated music and video playback controls, and a durable battery.
