According to BGR, who have managed to get a hold of Sprint’s latest roadmap, in a couple of months the carrier will be offering the new BlackBerry 8350i. The handset should be released during Q4; it will lack the external antenna, unlike reported previously, and will feature Wi-Fi connectivity, 2Mpix camera, GPS and will be powered by OS 4.6.

A bunch of new pictures of the upcoming Sprint's exclusive Motorola RAZR VE20 have surfaced today.
The phone is described as having V9m feature set while sharing a similar design with the V3m model.
It will become available this Sunday for a yet unknown price.

Sprint is going through some hard times... The company's latest financial report indicates that during last quarter they lost 901,000 subscribers, which amounted to a financial loss of $344 million. However, in the previous quarter they lost 1 million customers, so these figures are actually an “improvement” over the carrier's Q1 performance.
Things don't look good for Sprint.

A new iDEN clamshell from Motorola, the i776, has been approved by the FCC today.
It is compatible with Sprint Nextel's iDEN network, and features a camera, Bluetooth, GPS, push-to-talk functionality and an external antenna.

According to the info from the Palm's website, the company plans to release an update that will enable Bluetooth voice dialing on the Sprint's Palm Treo 800w smartphone. Unfortunately, they didn't provide any other details on the update, except asking us to check back on this page "in the coming days."

Sprint Nextel has sold off almost all (around 3,300) of its wireless communication towers to TowerCo for $670 million.
The officials explained that leasing the towers rather then owning them will allow the company to "better focus on its core business of providing communications services to consumers, businesses and government customers." Sprint Nextel's representative Bob Azzi also added that the transaction provides the company with "additional liquidity [for] greater flexibility in managing the company.

Sprint customers who own either HTC Touch or Mogul can now update their handset to Windows Mobile 6.1.
The Touch will now support Sprint's high-speed EV-DO Rev A. network, and will take advantage of the popular Opera web browser, and improved GPS functionality.
The HTC Mogul receives the same Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional upgrade. It will have updated versions of Microsoft Office and Live Search, as well as support for Sprint TV service.
