BGR has posted several new promo shots of the HTC Touch Pro, which should have been released on Sprint 5 days ago. Drool on these while you're waiting for the device itself to come out.

All those who are waiting for the Sprint HTC Touch Pro can spend some quality time reading the new user manual for the upcoming phone. One can download it here.
It looks like this version of the handset will be lacking FM radio, but will retain the traditional QWERTY keyboard.

Sprint has delayed the launch of its HTC Touch Pro until the end of October or early November.

Initially, the touchscreen smartphone was scheduled to be released this Sunday.

The exact cause of the delay wasn't announced.

Samsung-made Sprint ACE smartphone has received a Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrade.

Sprint claims that it's bringing an "Enhanced Time-Saving Mobile Experience" to the phone, as well as the ability to install unsigned apps, and support for turn-by-turn navigation.

On the threshold of the upcoming holiday period Sprint has added two new colors to its Palm Centro, which include Green and Rose. Apart from that, they've also upgraded the handset's RAM to 128MB. The phone will be available on October 19th at select retail locations, and November 2nd onwards in Sprint stores, consumer and business sales channels for $79.99 on a 2-year contract.

Sprint has opened a sign-up page for the upcoming BlackBerry Curve 8350i. While it's not a typical Nextel device, the 8350i does have Wi-Fi, GPS, and push-to-talk capability. So if you're tired of your old BlackBerry 7100i, sign-up for the new model now.

Sprint has announced yesterday that it will launch its Xohm WiMAX(INFO) data service in Baltimore on October 8. The event will be held at the Bond Street Wharf Park, on the Inner Harbour. Stay tuned for more details...

According to some unofficial sources, Sprint’s Android-based phone will be released by the end of this year. Apparently, it won't be similar to T-Mobile’s G1, as they say the handset will have “other functionality” than the G1.

Briefly: Sprint’s PictureMail, previously available on the HTC Touch Diamond, has been released for other handsets.

Sprint has announced the new LG LX600 Lotus flip phone for females. It will be available in luxurious colors, including purple with embossed flowers or satin black for $149.99 with two-year contract when it's released next month. Some of the features include a full QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth 2.0 support and a 2Mpix camera.
