The previous information have been confirmed: the T-Mobile Sidekick LX is now official and is bound to hit the stores nationwide on May 13th priced at $199 on a 2-year contract.

The HTC S522 has appeared at the FCC site under its MAPL100 (Maple) codename. The device will be fully compatible with T-Mobile’s HSPA network, since it features 3G support on the AWS band. T-Mobile, however, won't be the exclusive carrier for the handset in the U.S., as unbranded S522 is on its way to stateside release this summer.

New T-Mobile Sidekick 2009 details have surfaced yesterday through an FCC filling by the 3G module manufacturer Option. Here's the available set of specs:

• 3" or 3.18" display;
• HSDPA 850, 1700, and 2100MHz;
• Quad-band GSM/EDGE;
• Qualcomm MSM7201A core;
• 2Mpix or 3Mpix camera;
• 128MB of RAM;
• 256MB of ROM;

The upcoming SideKick Blade (or Sharp PV300) has been approved by the FCC with T-Mobile 3G support on board.

There's also a leaked screenshot of T-Mobile internal inventory system, where the new SideKick is listed. It is said that the handset will be available in Carbon and Orchid colors.

T-Mobile has lowered the price for its flagship BlackBerry Curve 8900 in an effort to boost sales. Now the handset is $50 cheaper, and is available for $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. Nice!

TmoNews has posted a supposed list of tentative release dates for about a dozen T-Mobile handsets. It's not officially confirmed, but we'll know if it has any credence in less than six weeks from now. Ok, here's the list itself:

As you can see below, the grandfather of all shooters DOOM has been ported to to the G1 and Android OS. It's still in an early BETA state, but is playable and is available on the Android Marketplace for G1 owners. Be sure to watch the attached video before installing the game on your handset.

Nokia and T-Mobile have unveiled the new Series 30 powered Nokia 1661 classic cell phoneat the CTIA Wireless show in Las Vegas. The handset doesn't have a camera or Bluetooth support, but it offers quad band GSM connectivity, an integrated flashlight, and a number of other basic features.

Pricing and availability have not been announced yet.

HTC Magic, also known as the T-Mobile G2, has been approved by the FCC for T-Mobile (where it will most likely be called G2). Below you'll find a full spec list of the handset.

The HTC Touch Pro2 (aka Rhodium) will be heading to T-Mobile. Besides the two new live shots of the said device, there is a leaked ROM over at xda-developers with device number RHOD21000, CID of T-MOB010, and target language listed as “USA”. It is packed with usual Windows Mobile fare from both 6.1 and 6.5 including Facebook, YouTube, Opera, the HTC-specific game Teeter and even a MyFaves tab on TouchFLO 3D.
