T-Mobile offers unlimited MMS as part of its Sidekick Unlimited plan. For just $19.99 a month T-Mobile subscribers, owners of the new MMS-capable Sidekick Slide or Sidekick LX, will be able to send as many MMS messages as they want. All new customers to buy LX or Slide will be automatically placed on the unlimited Sidekick plan.

T-Mobile started offering the Motorola RAZR2 V8. This quad-band GSM/EDGE clamshell phone operates on Motorola's Linux-Java OS and comes with stereo Bluetooth, touch-sensitive controls, 2Mpix camera, and 2GB of on-board memory (no microSD slot). The price is $250 with 2-year contract.

T-Mobile started offering its first 3G handset in New York. The carrier's 3G network is not ready yet, but we can be sure it will be up and running in some markets in the nearest future. The phone mentioned above is the new Samsung T639, a quad-band GSM/EDGE and WCDMA 1700MHz clamshell.

T-Mobile has just announced two Sidekick phones, the LX and Slide. Both are quad-band GSM/EDGE handsets with Bluetooth connectivity, microSD slot (4GB max), 1.3Mpix cameras, and the new mobile MySpace application. The LX, manufactured by Sharp, is a successor to the Sidekick 3 featuring a 3" WQVGA screen, 128MB microSD card and camera flash.

The long-awaited Sidekick LX will be available in T-Mobile stores starting October 24th. We still have very little info on its specifications, but having a month left until the official release, we can definitely expect more details to appear in the nearest future. All we can say for now is that the Danger is a slim GSM/EDGE smartphone with a large high-resolution display and a QWERTY-style keyboard.

T-Mobile will be the official carrier to offer Apple's iPhone in Germany. The device will feature GSM/EDGE and Wi-Fi connectivity and Apple's iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store. The iPhone's German debut is scheduled on November 9th, then it will be available in Deutsche Telekom's shops and in T-Mobile's online shop at a price of €399 (VAT included) after a 2-year contract.

The device looks similar to Sidekick 3, only its screen slides up instead of spinning around to uncover the five-line QWERTY keyboard underneath. Highlights include quad-band GSM/EDGE support, Bluetooth 1.2, 1.3Mpix camera, music player, microSD slot, messaging tools, and support for T-Mobile's MyFaves.
