T-Mobile Germany has added the BlackBerry Bold on its website. The handset costs $348 (219.95 EUR) along with the 2-year Max S plan for $39.5 (24.95 EUR) a month. We expect roughly the same pricing in T-Mobile U.S. stores when the phone is released.

The German release date is rumored to be July 21st, but it is subject to change.

Thrrum's MMS Visual Search service is now available to T-Mobile and Verizon customers.

It works like this: you take a picture of something and enter some text associated with it, and send it as an MMS to Thrrum. They will then send you search results based on your request.

The service is free of charge.

As expected, T-Mobile UK has released the Nokia 6650 clamshell smartphone that was unveiled back at the CeBIT 2008 show in Germany. It should be already available for purchase.

Features of the Nokia 6650 include:

• Size: 99.7mm x 47.3mm x 16.2mm (3.9" x 1.9" x 0.6");
• Weight: 112g (4oz);
• OS: Nokia's S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2;
• Band: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz, UMTS 850/2100MHz;
• Data: GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA/HSDPA;
• Battery Life: 1500mAh, up to 14.

Some sources report that starting October 1st T-Mobile USA will launch its yet limited 3G network nationwide, namely to its top 27 markets, including Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Miami, and others.

This information is not yet confirmed, so until we get some official proof of the abovementioned, it will remain a rumor.

Is that for real? BlackBerry KickStart for just $49.99? We knew it wouldn't be expensive, but didn't expect this. The handset should be available soon from T-Mobile on a 2-year contract.

According to BGR, which makes reference to a reliable source, T-Mobile USA is about to launch 3G 1700MHz network in the Metropolitan Chicago area. The information is not officially confirmed, so we are yet to see if it's true...

Reportedly, Windows Mobile handsets will soon become compatible with T-Mobile's Hotspot@Home service.

The first of such will be T-Mobile's Shadow II, a UMA capable phone that will allow for voice calls via Wi-Fi network. Unfortunately, we won't see it live till Q4.

T-Mobile is ready to announce its MOTOROKR E8 phone that was first seen at CES 2008 back in January. We already reviewed this phone.

UPDATE: Motorola ROKR E8 was announced and will be available for purchase from T-Mobile starting July 7 for $199.

T-Mobile @Home is a new service from T-Mobile USA that allows customers to connect their home phone to the carrier's network and offers unlimited national calling for just $10 a month.

It requires a broadband Internet connection, as well as the same router that provides T-Mobile Hotspot @Home service. 

In order to qualify for the $10/month plan you need to subscribe for atleast the $39/month cellular plan.

We don't know what to think... Many sources now indicate that we won't see Google Android based handsets till the fourth quarter. However, originally it was implied that the first phones will be available in 2H 2008, but when exactly was not mentioned. Knowing this, all we can say for sure is that the first Android-based HTC smartphones will be available from T-Mobile sometime this year.
