With the recent announcement of its 3G network expansion, T-Mobile USA is set to launch its first HSDPA handset, the Sony Ericsson TM506. This mid-range pone will be available on September 3rd for a yet unknown price.
Specifications of the TM506:
- 2Mpix camera with Video recording capability;
- Tri-band 850/1800/1900 GSM/GPRS/EDGE;
- Dual-band UMTS/HSDPA 1700/2100;
- Bluetooth 2.

FCC has approved today the new Nokia N85, the first tri-band WCDMA device to support both AT&T and T-Mobile's 3G networks.
Known features include:
- Quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900) and tri-band WCDMA;
- GPRS/EDGE and/or HSDPA data;
- 240×320 pixel QVGA Display;
- 5Mpix camera with autofocus;
- Dual-slide form factor;
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth;
- FM Receiver/Transmitter;
- A-GPS
We expect to find out more details after November 5th, when the confidentiality request expires.

T-Mobile's 3G AWS network has been launched today in Las Vegas, which became the second market after NYC to get it. The carrier also confirmed its plans on expanding the 3G network to at least 20 additional markets by the end of 2008.
Apart from that, they also announced the upcoming release of the the company's first HSDPA-capable phone.

Motorola has added three new handsets to its ROKR music-centric line-up, the EM30 candybar (in pic), EM28 flip, and EM25 slider. The E30 model carries over the E8's design style, but offers a regular d-pad for navigation instead of the touch-sensitive wheel. Other two have the similar design, only in different form factors.

As expected, T-Mobile USA has released the BlackBerry Curve in Sunset color.
Specifications and pricing did not change.
The device is available now in selected stores and online for $149.99 with a 2-year agreement.

T-Mobile has announced its latest Sidekick phone today.
The 2008 model is a bit a smaller than the previous ones, but the design remained pretty much the same. In addition, the Sidekick 2008 offers interchangeable shells, which can also be customized directly on the carrier's website ($15).

Reportedly, T-Mobile will start offering a customly painted Blackberry Curve within a week. It will come in sunset color, but won't feature any hardware or software updates. As usual in such cases...
With the Blackberry Bold making its way to the forthcoming release, we don't think this one will gain much popularity. Still, if you like it, don't forget to visit T-Mobile's website on August 4th.

T-Mobile Germany has added the BlackBerry Bold on its website. The handset costs $348 (219.95 EUR) along with the 2-year Max S plan for $39.5 (24.95 EUR) a month. We expect roughly the same pricing in T-Mobile U.S. stores when the phone is released.
The German release date is rumored to be July 21st, but it is subject to change.
