Good news for Telus subscribers: the BlackBerry Storm 9530 is now available for pre-order through FutureShop. The device costs $649.99 with a limit of 1 unit per household, and will be officially released on December 18th.

BGR reports that Telus will soon start selling the Blackberry Storm, and it won't come cheap, as you may guess. However, high prices won't stop anyone willing to get the device before Christmas. So, are you ready to spend any of the following amounts for the cherished touchscreen BlackBerry?

• $649.99 with no contract;
• $599.99 with 1-year contract;
• $549.

Good news for Bell customers: the carrier has managed to get the HTC Touch Pro before Telus and already sells it for $239.95 CAD (about $195) with a 3-year contract. If you think that's too long, don't worry, Telus isn't better when it comes to contract terms.

Fortunately for most of us, such rules exist only in Canada.

Telus Mobility has finally released the CDMA HTC Touch Pro for its customers in Canada. All willing can get it for $299.99 on a 3-year agreement (why not for the lifetime?), or you can pay $549.99, $599.99 or $649.99 on a 2-, 1-year plans and outright, respectively.

Telus has announced a new phone with a QWERTY keyboard phone for its subscribers, the Samsung m540 Slyde. Featuring a 2Mpix camera, GPS navigation, 2.1" display, and the QWERTY keyboard this phone comes in either black or pink, and will be available at the following prices:

• $179.99 with a 3-year contract;
• $49.99 with a 2-year contract;
• $179.

According to some sources, the release of the BlackBerry Storm on Telus has been delayed till early December. Thus we can expect the touchscreen Blackberry to be out by Dec 8th, just in time for the holiday season.

As expected, Telus has launched the LG Dare today. The phone is available now for $349.99 off contract, $299.99 with a 1-year agreement, $199.99 with a 2-year contract, and as low as $99.99 with a 3-year contract. I just wonder why the didn't they release it earlier.

Judging by the fact that the Blackberry Storm 9530 is now parading at the Telus' official website, it will be will be the first carrier to offer the device in Canada.
