Telus is planning to release a new device on August 7th. It's called the LG KEYBO2, and features a 1.56″ external screen, 2.6″ internal screen, a 3Mpix camera with video recording, new directional pad design and more. It will be available for $129.99 on a 3-year contract, $229.99 for the 2-year, $279.99 for 1-year and $329.99 outright.
If the phone doesn’t show up at TELUS on the 7th, expect it to become available at Best Buy.

TELUS customers can now get their hands on a couple of cool WinMo smartphones: the HTC Snap and Touch Pro2. Both devices offer an abundance of features including shared specs such as email support, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, speakerphone, visual voicemail, global GSM roaming and over five hours of talk-time for each of them.
Prices are $0 and $249.

It looks like Telus' Mike will be the second iDEN carrier in Canada to offer the Motorola i465 Clutch. It is a low-end messaging handset with a front-facing QWERTY keyboard, and features like PTT, threaded SMS/MMS, Bluetooth support, and a cr@ppy VGA camera.
