Telus has made available the Samsung OMNIA for its customers today. You all probably know what it is, but here's a quick rundown of its specs anyway.

Telus Mobility has formally announced the launch of the BlackBerry 8230 Pearl Flip for its customers in Canada. The phone will be available in pink and black colors at the following prices:

• 3-year contract: $49.99;
• 2-year contract: $299.99;
• 1-year contract: $399.99;
• Contract-free: $449.99

The appearance of the BlackBerry 8230 Pearl Flip smartphone on the Telus' website is definitely a good sign for its waiters. The phone is listed as "Coming Soon", but doesn't offer any pricing details. Expected prices are $50 on a 3-year contract, or $449 outright.

In Canada the handset is also available through Best Buy Canada and Bell.

For those who thought it was too expensive Telus has dropped the price for its BlackBerry Storm to $199.99, including a 3-year contract with a voice, e-mail and data plan of $40 or more).

According to BlackBerryNews, the CDMA BlackBerry Pearl 8220 flip will be coming soon to Telus. They've showed some documentation showing a big "Coming Soon" sign next to the phone. And if rumors are to be belived, the most probable release date is sometime in the end of the month.

As expected, Telus has launched the BlackBerry 8350i on its iDEN network in Canada. Current prices are as follows:

$249 on 3-year contract;
$449 on 2-year contract;
$549 on 1-year contract;
$599 outright

The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 will soon be available in CDMA version, as tha handset will be hitting Telus in the nearest future. According to the unofficial info, the phone should be released as early as next month in either black or pink colors.

Possible U.S. carriers for the 8220 are Verizon, T-Mobile or Sprint.

Telus subscribers will finally be able to get their hands on the latest BlackBerry OS 4.5 update. Well, not actually latest, as users on other networks use software version 4.5.0.89, while those on telus will have to settle with 4.5.0.77 build. But, it's better than nothing anyway.

The update is compatible with 8130 Pearl and the 8330 Curve models, and can be downloaded here.
