Telus has released the LG Dare touchscreen cell phone for its customers yesterday.

Available pricing options include:

$100 on a 3-year contract;
$200 on 2-year contract;
$300 on 1-year contract;
$350 without contract;

Features of the LG Dare:

Judging by the fact that the Blackberry Storm 9530 is now parading at the Telus' official website, it will be will be the first carrier to offer the device in Canada. According to some web rumors, the Storm will become available “just in time for the holiday shopping season”, which could mean next month.

While the HTC Touch Dual isn't new, Canadian Telus has decided to add it to its lineup only yesterday. Here's the pricing:

• $199 with a 3 year contract;
• $299 with a 2 year contract;
• $349.99 with a 1 year contract;
• $399.99 contract free

 

Just to let you know, Telus and HTC have released a Windows Mobile 6.1 update for the Telus' S720, the CDMA variant of the Vox.

The update adds support for EV-DO Rev. A and improves "overall device functionality and stability".

The source of this information is unknown, but according to the Telegraph T-Mobile UK will launch the Google's HTC Dream sometime in November. Well, atleast that's what they say, as there was no official confirmation yet.

Telus has launched a new clamshell from LG called KEYBO. Customers can now get it for $49.99 CAD (about $48) on a 3-year contract.

The phone features EV-DO connectivity, GPS, a 2Mpix camera, two screens, and an internal QWERTY keyboard.

Briefly: Canadian Telus announced its upcoming release of the HTC Touch Diamond on August 14th. Prices are as following:

• $150 on a 3-year contract;
• $350 on a 2-year contract;
• $400 on a 1-year contract;
• $450 full retail

According to some sources, Bell and Telus are ready to launch their GSM networks, and will start ofering transition plans in the near future to take up a better position against their main rival Rogers and to get cooler handsets. It is not known, though, whether they will offer HSPA connectivity or move strait to UMTS LTE.

Telus now offers the pink version of the BlackBerry Curve. Personally, I don't see any point in this, especially on the threshold of the BlackBerry Bold release.

Anyway, if you still intend to buy yourself a BlackBerry Curve, it can be yours for CA$149.99 on a three-year contract or CA$549.99 without contract. But don't rush as prices will fall as soon as the Bold launches.

As expected, the CDMA version of the HTC Touch Diamond smartphone passed the FCC. So far it was announced only by Canadian Telus, but with the FCC's approval on their hands nothing prevents other CDMA carriers in the U.S. from getting it.
