Great news for O2 subscribers in Germany! Apparently you will be the firs to get you hands on the upcoming HTC Touch HD.

Theunwired .net has posted some shots of it on Sunday and said that the phone was a marketing sample provided by O2 Germany, which btw will be its exclusive carrier in the country.

You may now start jumping with joy.

Today FCC has approved the HTC "Jade", better known as the Touch 3G.

Unfortunately (but expected), the 7.2Mbps HSDPA won't be available to North American users. Instead they'll have to enjoy the crappy 2G WCDMA on the 900 and 2100MHz bands, which won't even allow for chatting and browsing at the same time.

Oh well, that's life, atleast it'll make it stateside.

Starting today you can get the unlocked U.S. 3G-enabled version of the HTC Touch Diamond for $699.99 at Best Buy.

They also say the device will be shipped within one business day. We don't know if that's true.

It's a pity they don't have the white variant, though...

Coolsmartphone claim they've got suggested pricing for the three upcoming HTC handsets. Here they are:

• HTC Touch HD - £514.99;
• HTC Touch 3G - £319.99 (£349.99 with maps);
• HTC Touch Viva - £209.99

However, these prices aren't confirmed yet, so rather wait for the official announcement.

It looks like once again Alltel has decided to follow Sprint's path and get the same handset, this time the HTC Touch Pro.

No, the company didn't announce that, it's just a rumor, backed up with this photo of what appears to be an Alltel-branded Touch Pro. Word on the street has it that the said handset will be released "soon" after the Touch Diamond.

Don't ask us when.

The new HTC Touch HD is now available for pre-order at Clove for an "insignificant" price of £495 ($880) before VAT. But hey, that's the usual price you have to pay to be one of the first to get the upcoming device. Clove will start shipping the Touch HD in November.

Ever wondered how a white HTC Touch Diamond would look? Well here it is, and it looks amazing, even though it's the same old Diamond under the hood. Expect it to become available in October.
