Continuing our previous post: over this weekend TELUS has also launched the HTC Touch Pro2! The device is available at the following prices:

• 3-year contract: $249.99;
• 2-year contract: $549.99;
• 1-year contract: $599.99;
• Outright: $649.99

How do you like it? The actual ROM of the unannounced HTC Mega has been leaked at XDA site. What’s so special about it? Well, this ROM contains the HTC’s latest TouchFLO 2D 2.0 UI. It  looks very similar to the TouchFLO 3D, just lacks all that “3D” stuff. So if you own an HTC WM 6.1/6.5 touchscreen device, and know how to flash it with custom ROMs, head on over to XDA to download the software.

T-Mobile USA will be the first to launch the HTC Touch Pro2 in the U.S. The handset is already available in other parts of the world, and the stateside release is scheduled for August 12th. The exact price is yet to be announced.

Just to let you know: T-Mobile UK has released the HTC Hero in the UK as the G2 Touch. It's now available online and should be available in stores in the coming days.

It looks like T-Mobile G2 Touch (aka HTC Hero) won't be arriving in Germany in July, as originally announced. The release date was pushed back till August, and apparently the UK launch will also be delayed. But who cares, a couple of weeks of wait won't kill anyone, and the phone will still be selling like hot cakes. I mean - Sense UI, excellent on-screen keyboard, Android 1.

TmoNews has managed to get their hands on some sort of slide according to which the HTC's latest AWS-capable superphone will be available starting August 12, and not earlier as originally expected. So there's a month left to wait. Just to remind you, the myTouch 3G will launch this month. look it up, maybe you'll find it interesting.

Those who live in Europe are lucky... Why? The HTC's flagship Touch Pro2 smartphone with support for European 3G bands can now be purchased through devicewire.co.uk online shop, unlocked and ready for action. Unfortunately, its $800 price tag is just too unreasonable, but that's just me...

Just a short update: according to eXpansys UK, the handset should be in their stock on June 12th. This just proves our previous suggestions about the mid-June release.

According to last week's reports, it looks like HTC Touch Pro2 will be coming on Sprint sometime in mid-June. This came from a SprintUsers poster, who backed up his words with some nice pictures of the device. It's still just a rumor, however, so don't get your hopes up. Stay tuned.
