It looks like the highly anticipated HTC Touch Diamond2 will be arriving in Europe and Asia sometime in the middle of April. This goes in line with the previous rumors saying that T-Mobile Germany will be the first European carrier to offer both the HTC Touch Diamond2 and HTC Touch Pro2. Anyways, if you'll be visiting Europe in mid-April, you may consider buying the handset before its official U.

According to Expansys, all willing will be able to buy the anticipated HTC Touch Diamond2 in the UK on April 15 for £424.99. And considering the fact that HTC usually launches its products simultaneously across Europe and Asia, we believe that UK residents won't be the only lucky ones to get their hands on the said handset that day.

The HTC Touch Pro2 (aka Rhodium) will be heading to T-Mobile. Besides the two new live shots of the said device, there is a leaked ROM over at xda-developers with device number RHOD21000, CID of T-MOB010, and target language listed as “USA”. It is packed with usual Windows Mobile fare from both 6.1 and 6.5 including Facebook, YouTube, Opera, the HTC-specific game Teeter and even a MyFaves tab on TouchFLO 3D.

According to Coolsmartphone, the UMA-enabled HTC Touch 3G will be hitting Orange UK soon, which means that it will be able to seamlessly transfer between GSM and Wi-Fi resulting in some decent savings for the end user.

So far the T-Mobile Shadow is the only Windows Mobile device that supports UMA, in the US.

If you have the original Touch Diamond, then you should know that some good guys have managed to rip all the new applications from the ROM of the upcoming Touch Diamond 2 and made them available for download. Here's what the ROM included:

• HTC Album 2.5.1820.4127 w/ Social Networking;
• Opera v9.5 build 15613;
• Diamond 2 Sensor with apps regedit;

BGR has posted a set of exclusive pics of a test model of the Verizon Wireless' HTC Touch Diamond. It has been released on Sprint long ago, so in case you're still interested in this handset, which btw should be available next month, check out its specs below:

The recently announced HTC Touch Diamond2 is now up for pre-order at Expansys UK with expected delivery date set to April 17th, which isn't too far away. The prices are $488 or $561 after tax.

Just a quick glance at the upcoming HTC Touch Diamond 2 compared with the original side by side. As you see it looks a bit larger then the previous model.

HTC has recently released a minor software update for its Touch Pro smartphone. Changelog includes fixes for glitchy auto-focus and preview screen, TouchFLO 3D crashes, and the issue when "the display of TouchFLO 3D sometimes may appear cracked". Be warned though, that by installing the patch you may erase your provider's customizations, so read the installation instructions very carefully.
