Sprint subscribers who have been patiently waiting for the release of Palm Treo Pro on February 15th will have to wait a bit longer. The device will be released a couple of weeks later in the end of the month, and there wasn’t any official explanations regarding the delay.

Oh well...

The Palm Treo Pro smartphone is now available for Sprint subscribers at BestBuy.com at a price of $699.99. It should be noted that the carrier itself hasn't officially announced the handset.

Good news for Sprint customers: Palm Treo Pro has is now available for purchase at the company's website. It doesn't differ from its GSM counterpart, and offers the following features:

• Sprint TV;
• Music Store;
• Mobile Sync;
• Picture messaging;
• QWERTY keyboard;
• 320x320 display;
• Windows Mobile Pro 6.

New slides of the upcoming Palm Treo Pro from Sprint have surfaced yesterday. Now it is known that the device will feature a 528Hz processor and 512MB of flash storage, as wel as IE6 as its default web browser. Also, according to some reports the device has already been shipped to stores, though it hasn't been confirmed.

This is probably the first spy pic of the upcoming Palm Treo Pro for Sprint. The CDMA version of the handset has been approved yesterday by the FCC, and doesn't offer anything new when compared to its GSM counterpart. It should become available in approximately 2 weeks time for about $549.

Following Vodafone, the O2 UK has released the Palm Treo Pro smartphone for its customers. There are 12, 18, 24 and 36 month plans available, as seen at the official website. Any takers?

Pictures of Palm Treo Pro 850 and a pink version of Samsung Instinct have been spotted today at Best Buy. The in-stock date is said to be January 25th, so if you're interetsed in either of these phones, you've got about a month left to wait.

Spint subscribers waitinhg the CDMA version of Palm’s Treo Pro will be able to get it in the beginning of 2009, January 11th to be precise. The date is not final, but atleast it's official, so take it into account.

We expect verizon to follow the example shortly after, though there was no word from the carrier yet.

The subject says it all. This will probably make a serious boost in the manufacturer's sales, as it enters a new market, and the phone itself isn't bad either. Some of the features include Windows Mobile 6.1, Wi-Fi, GPS and UMTS/HSDPA support.

Following HTC, Palm has announced that starting November 1 it will no longer provide the upgrade to Windows Mobile 6 for one of its handsets, namely the Treo 750. If you own a Treo 750 running Windows Mobile 5, upgrade your phone to a newer system while you still can.
