AT&T recently introduced Dark-ruby Blackberry Pearl and Palm Treo 680. These devices have all the features of the original versions. The red BlackBerry Pearl and crimson Treo 680 have quad-band capabilities. The red BlackBerry Pearl has just 4.2" x 1.97" x 0.57", weighs only 3.1 ounces. It's packed with a 1.3-megapixel digital camera, multimedia capabilities and an expandable memory slot, as well as email and browser applications.

The Palm Treo 700wx smartphone was launched and by Verizon Wireless today. The smartphone is still Microsoft's Windows Mobile 5.0 with Direct Push Technology working in CDMA/EV-DO and featuring QWERTY, Touch display, and support for Bluetooth stereo headsets.

The Treo 700wx smartphone offers broadband-like speeds with wireless email and rich media functions.

Shares of Palm [ PALM ] lowered more than 7% Tuesday due to delays in shipping its Treo 750 in the United States. The company says the revenues will fall between $390 million and $395 million. Earnings per diluted share may be 10 cents to 11 cents. As a reason Palm states a certification delay for its inability to start shipping the Treo 750 in the US .

Cingular Wireless L.L.C. launches new Palm Treo 680. The device combines enterprise applications with multimedia to meet expectation of those who seek affordable productivity and entertainment in the same package. The Palm Treo 680 is compatible with Cingular's GSM/GPRS/EDGE network. The Treo 680 relies on the Palm operating system and provides access to e-mail, documents, spreadsheets and a variety of messaging applications along with a digital camera, camcorder, video player and MP3 player.

Vodafone makes available the new Treo 750 which is the GSM version of the 700w in Europe. In the United States, Cingular - number one carrier is going to launch the Treo 750. The quad-band GSM and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA phone has the FCC approval it's capable of world roaming in both 2G and 3G.

Cingular is going to present the device in two versions – with and without camera and both of them will receive $100 Mail-in Rebate.

Palm presents the Treo 680 with the same classic design and the addition of multiple colors. The notable additions for the 680 are an internal antenna, twice the memory and some minor software options in the rest it's almost identical to the 650. Low-end consumers are expected to be the potential customers of 680.

The Palm Treo 700wx has officially launched on Sprint. While this was the first time it has been officially talked about, like most past Treos there wasn't much about the 700wx that didn't leak. The handset is almost identical to the Treo 700w that Verizon has exclusively carried since early this year. The only difference is an increase in RAM (well, and Sprint branding).

Palm is finally preparing to launch its next Treo smartphone, with the official launch scheduled for September 12th. A palm spokeswoman noted the announcement would be in the UK so this is likely the 3G Treo we first mentioned in June.
A European targeted Treo is needed badly since the company had to discontinue sales of the 650 after electronics environmental law passed.

Palm today announced it will market a version of its Treo smartphone in Europe through Britain's Vodafone Group Plc. in hopes of resolving technical problems with a previous model.

The latest Treo will operate on Vodafone's high-speed third generation (3G) network and be powered by Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system. The new Treo smartphone will be available first to Vodafone customers in multiple European countries, including the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy and Netherlands, before the end of the calendar year.
