Wmexperts reports that the new Palm Treo 800w can be ordered today by calling to Sprint Telesales at 877-639-8351. The device is marked with a product ID PTR800HK and is available for $599 before a $100 mail-in-rebate and $75 off (1 year contract) or $150 off (2 year contract).

- Dialing by typing contact name on the today screen;

Palm Treo 755p from Verizon has got a firmware update. Unfortunately, there's no info about it, only a phrase on the support page saying that this build "improves the phone application, stability and device usability." Well, sounds good enough for us, so if you own the respective handset, get it "tuned-up".

Thanks to an inventory sheet posted on HowardForums we now know the exact launch date of the anticipated Palm Treo 800w on Sprint. The device will be available to business customers starting July 9, and to other subscribers on July 13 (not July 22 like we originally thought). The launch date could be delayed of course, so don't get too excited.
The Palm Treo 800w will cost $249.

We're not sure about this, but it looks like Treo 700wx is getting an official Windows Mobile 6 upgrade courtesy of Verizon. There was no mention of WM 6.1 update and whether Sprint customers will get it. We'll see... Btw, apparently, if you want, you can upgrade your Treo 700wx to Windows Mobile 6.0 unofficially.

According to a leaked presentation from Verizon, the carrier will apparently be offering the Samsung i770 and Treo 800w smartphones in the near future.
- The Samsung i770 is an upgrade to the i760 model, which doubles the memory, has a better 2Mpix camera and runs Windows Mobile 6.1 OS.
- Regarding the Treo 800w, it will be available in Q3 2008.

Finally! BGR got their hands on the first set of pictures of the Palm Treo 850.
It certainly looks slightly different from the previous models, though still has a noticeable resemblance with the rest of the maker's devices. Not many details are known so far, just note that this is a Windows Mobile smartphone with a 400MHz CPU and a 100MB of RAM.
