Qualcomm has developed a chip that supports both MediaFLO and International Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting-Terrestrial (International ISDB-T) mobile TV standards.
The latter is a technology allowing users in countries like Japan or Brazil to capture free TV signals. According to Qualcomm, this will help operators to offer both free and paid TV services to their customers.

Samsung Korea has launched two new Anycall phones, called the SCH-W420 and SPH-W4200.
Both phones have the same large touchscreens with haptic feedback, which allows users to communicate through 22 types of vibrations. Other features include 3.2" screen, DMB TV, 2Mpix camera and more.
The handsets will be available in pink and white colors for 700.

It's official. AT&T Mobile TV will be launched on May 4th in 58 markets, including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, Seattle and Washington, D.C, and others.
The new service will include 10 channels, two of which will be AT&T's exclusive (PIX and CNN Mobile Live). Moreover, there will be a bonus music channel, CNCRT, available just for the first 60 days.

Fujitsu came up with a new cell phone called Raku-Raku F884i for the Japanese NTT DoCoMo network.
The handset comes in a variety of colors and features quad-band GSM, large display, camera, 1-Seg mobile TV tuner, a configurable orientation sensor, which enables TV or camera depending on the orientation of the screen, and the upgraded real-time voice recognition function.

carrier's new Mobile TV service.
This is a 3G candy bar cell phone
featuring a 2.3" widescreen display, dedicated TV button, stereo

The
phone will be released in May.

Samsung announced that their P960 DVB-H enabled HSDPA-capable phone will be available in Taiwan later this year, most likely in the third quarter. Four of the five Taiwanese carriers offer TV broadcasting services, so this market is a natural choice for Samsung to release the handset.
