Just to let you know, T-Mobile has issued a minor OTA firmware update (Android 1.5 build CRC1) for its G1 handset. According to the official description it includes "permissions fixes and other bug fixes". That's all there is to it.

A SprintUsers forums member has posted some information regarding an upcoming Palm Pre software update, which due to be out “on or near 7/22/09”. He said that he received the list of changes through an e-mail from Sprint.

Well, the 1.1 (11.0.021) update for the Nokia N97 we talked about yesterday is now available to everyone, so you can get started right away. In case you didn't know, Vodafone has released an official firmware update for the BlackBerry Storm 9500. The new OS 4.7.0.148 build is available via the BlackBerry download site. Backup your data before installing.

If you already own a Palm Pre, you can now download and install the official 1.0.2 update and see what the changes are. Supposedly, it makes the system more stable and adds a new alarm clock, as far as we know.

Use the Update option under the programs menu to download the new version of the WebOS (67MB). You may continue using your handset while downloading.

To Verizon subscribers, users of the BlackBerry Storm 9530: if you recall, the carrier was planning to release the OS 4.7.0.141 firmware update for the handset, but rejected it because of one single issue. Well, the latest .148 build could be the replacement for it. Look it up, especially since official updates from VZW are a rarity.

A new ROM upgrade v1.40.707.1 is now available at HTC support site for HTC Touch Diamond2 users in Asia. The most notable change is the phone's updated radio, but we can't tel if it will improve reception of battery life.
