The latest OS 4.6.0.234 for BlackBerry Bold owners can be downloaded here, though as usual we know nothing about the changes integreted in the new build. Proceed with caution.

A day after the official release of the OS 4.6.1.133 update for the BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone, the guys over at crackberry.com came up with what they claim to be the leaked OS 4.6.1.144 firmware for the handset. Head over to their site for more info. Install at your own risk!

BlackBerry Curve 8900 owners can now update their handsets to the official firmware version OS 4.6.1.133. Hit up this link from BlackBerry to download the latest build. And don't forget to backup your data before proceeding.

Aren't those guys tired yet? Yet another Blackberry Storm 9530 firmware update has leaked in the web, and now it's OS 4.7.0.99. As usual, no release notes or changelogs are available, so install at your own risk.

Nokia has recently issued firmware updates for its N78 and N82 handsets.

The latest N78 firmware v20.149.051.1 updates Nokia Maps to version 2.0 and makes UI more responsive. Full change log can be found at DailyMobile.se.

N82's latest firmware version 31.0.016 adds UDP (User Data Preservation), and updates Nokia Maps, making the application more stable.

The newly released 2.2.1 firmware update for the iPhone (3G) doesn't add copy/paste functionality to the handset, but instead it offers "improved general stability of Safari" and a fix for proper displaying of saved Mail images.

Apparently, Sony Ericsson has issued a new firmware update for its v1.03.936.6 Xperia X1 handset. It hasn't been announced yet, so we don't have the list of changes at the moment. The update can be installed through Sony Ericsson Update Service. For more details visit XDA-Developers forum.

A new firmware update for T-Mobile's BlackBerry Curve 8900 has been leaked today. The new version 4.6.1.133 is said to include louder ringtone sound, as well as improved battery life. If you alredy have the device, install the update at your own risk.

Just to remind you, regular users will be able to purchase the handset starting January 19th, while business users can get it already from T-Mobile.
