Intellect Wireless has sued Helio, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Virgin Mobile for patent infringement.

According to Intellect all four companies are violating its patents regarding image messaging. All patents belong to the company's founder Daniel Henderson, and are titled Picture Phone with Caller ID, and Method and Apparatus for Improved Paging Receiver and System.

Following the majority of the American operators, U.S. Cellular announced its own $99 unlimited calling plan.

It includes unlimited national calls, plus unlimited data and text messaging for additional $10 and $15 respectively. The offer will be available for a limited time only.
