This is the UTStarcom Knick, a new very Sidekick-ish handset bound for AT&T. Looks pretty big and ugly, if you ask me... Here's what we know about it at the moment, thanks to Endgadget:

Available for just $49.99 w/o contract, the handset comes in Black-and-Red finish and offers features like Bluetooth connectivity, VGA camera, speakerphone, as well as external and internal displays.
If you're looking for a cheap and stylish phone, this one is for you.

FCC has posted a picture of an upcoming UTStarcom TXT8010 smartphone from Pantech codenamed Elvis.
It looks pretty fat, and apparently has a landscape screen and a QWERTY-keyboard. In rest, specifications are mid-end and include:
- Dual-band (850/1900Mhz) CDMA;
- 1.3Mpix camera;
- Bluetooth;
- Brew platform;
- microSD card slot.

2 days ago at CTIA UTStarcom unveiled three new devices:
- CDM7126c ("c" is for Cricket): low-end CDMA clamshell; 800/1900/AWS CDMA bands, Bluetooth, 1.8" 65k display.
- TXT8010: messaging handset with a slide out QWERTY keypad, 2.2" 262k screen, 1.3Mpix camera, Bluetooth, and Openwave browser.

The FCC has recently approved the new UTStarcom CDM-7126, which is the first tri-band CDMA phone supporting CDMA 850/1900 and 1700 AWS bands. Carriers, who can pick up this handset, are Cricket, MetroPCS and US Cellular. Otherwise, the 7126 is a low-end clamshell similar to the 7125. No word on the release date or pricing as of yet.

A funny looking phone was spotted at CES recently. This is UTStarcom HSM 180, a phone that looks more like a traffic light as it has two circular keypads, a little similar to those on the Nokia 3600 and 3650, and a round display. HSM 180 features include support for GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks and MP3 playback.

It is announced that UTStarcom announced two new entry-level clamshell CDMA phones. It’s not yet known much but we can tell you that the devices are 7026 - a basic phone that has an internal antenna, color STN display, speakerphone, and BREW for downloadable games and content. Another device is 7076 that is similar to the 7026, but adds an external display and a VGA camera.
