Verizon Wireless is about to launch the BlackBerry 9530 Storm, and while we wait for the official announcement, here are some new details about the device that have leaked today:
- Full HTML browser;
- Quad-band GSM + EV-DO;
- 3.2Mpix camera;
- High-res “click” touch screen with tactile feedback
Unfortunately, it looks like there's no Wi-Fi.

FCC has unveiled two new phones today, the Samsung T919 for T-Mobile and the LG VX9600 for Verizon Wireless.
The T919 is a tri-band GSM/3G handset with support for 1700MHz WCDMA and probably HSDPA. Other features may include MP3 player, a-GPS and a full Internet browser with "touch".
The LG VX9600 is a CDMA 850/1900 / EVDO handset with a 3" touch sensitive display with 3D graphical UI, according to documents.

FCC has recently showed two new variants of the Samsung Omnia handset, the i910 and i907.
The first is a CDMA phone bound for Verizon Wireless, and the other is a customly designed Omnia for AT&T.
There is no info about these yet, so we'll have to wait for the official confirmation.

Verizon has launched a Samsung u430 today. It's a basic clamshell phone, first seen back in June. Not much to say about it: VGA cam and Bluetooth are the things of the far past, but if you want a simple to use phone for just making/receiving calls, take this one into consideration.

Verizon has launched the titanium version of the LG Voyager.
The titanium LG Voyager has the same features as the black version, including:
- 3G EVDO data connection;
- Internal 2.81" 400x240, 262k color touch-screen with haptic feedback;
- External 2.81" 262k color display;
- support for Verizon Visual Voicemail;
- support for V CAST Music;
- MP3 playback;
- Stereo speakers;
- QWERTY keypad;
- 2Mpix auto-focus camera;
- Bluetooth connectivity.

Verizon has mistakenly leaked release dates for three of its upcoming handses. First is the Motorola VU30 Rapture, which is set for release on September 9; next is the LG VX8360 scheduled for October; and last but not least is the Nokia 7205, which won't be available till December.

What's the difference between Palm 700p (Verizon) and 700wx (Alltel) handsets anyway? I mean, why would Palm release two separate firmware upgrades for each of these, when they're the same? Anyway, as expected the company didn't give any details on what the patches actually fix, but it's always nice to know you have an up-to-date firmware running on your handset, right? According to BGR, the upcoming BlackBerry Thunder for Verizon will bear the model number 9530, which proves its belonging to the 9500 series. They have also confirmed the release date, which is October 13th.
So it's just two months left to wait...
