These are the main specs of the new Samsung U550 phone from Verizon:

If you recall, not long ago we mentioned that Verizon Wireless is going to make Palm Treo 755p available for its customers.

Now we know when this will happen and how much the device will cost. Treo 755p should be available online on December 17, and in Verizon stores starting January 7.

Verizon Wireless has officially launched the Pink version of the LG Venus to add more female appeal to the phone.

All specs remain the same, and the price didn't change either.

The handset still costs $200 (after $50 rebate and 2-year contract).

Verizon Wireless has added a new color for its LG VX8350 mobile phone.

It is now available in glossy dark red finish, and has the same features as the original black version including support for V CAST Video and V CAST Music services.

The price is $79.99 with a 2 year service agreement and a $50 mail-in rebate.

According to Lowell McAdam, Verizon Wireless CEO, the company will support and use Google's new Android mobile platform.

If you recall, last week Verizon announced that it will allow any application, any device to access its network, so the use of Android just proves the intentions.

Verizon has release several promotional photos of the recently launched Motorola RIZR Z6c "World Edition" slider phone.

The handset supports both dual-mode CDMA and GSM networks, but lacks VCAST TV-support, which is present on the Z6tv model.
