It looks like Verizon Wireless is planning to launch the highly anticipated BlackBerry Tour on July 12th. The price is set to $199 with a 2-year contract, according to Verizon’s testman site. It will sell like hot cakes.

Here is a couple of new official pics of the Verizon's HTC Ozone (a.k.a. Snap/Ceder/Willow). The handset will be released June 29th for $49.99 after a $70 rebate with 2-year contract. Features include:

• Quad-band GSM / CDMA;
• Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard edition (upgradeable to 6.5);
• Full QWERTY keyboard;
• 256 MB ROM;

BGR has posted some new info on the Verizon version of the HTC Snap, known as the HTC Ozone. It is expected to become available online starting June 29, and should arrive in retail stores on July 13. Basing on some leaked official documents, the handset will be available for $49.99 on a 2-year contract after a $70 mail-in rebate, and will feature:

• Windoes Mobile 6.

As announced previously, on yesterday Verizon has released the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 for its customers. This consumer-friendly phone is available for purchase now for $79.99 on contract after rebates.

Verizon has confirmed the upcoming release of the BlackBerry Tour on its network by unveiling a teaser page for the smartphone. There's just a fancy product shot and a newsletter sign up, but this could only mean that the official launch is nearing fast.

Surprisingly, Bluetooth SIG has recently certified the upcoming Motorola W766 (codenamed "Harmony"), and published some photos of it. This flip phone is really nothing special, and is all set to replace the low-end W755. Expect the release to take place in a couple of months on Verizon.

Verizon Wireless has lowered the prices for its enV3 and the enV TOUCH handsets. Both phones are now $50 cheaper than they were originally, and are available for $79.99 and $99.99, respectively.
If you purchased either of these handsets at the time of their launch, I know how you feel now...

Besides the Casio Exilim there is another anticipated handset that has been launched yesterday by Verizon. The Motorola A455 Rival looks similar to the LG Neon, and is a mid-end touchscreen handset with a 2Mpix camera, EV-DO data support, GPS (VZ Navigator), and microSD expansion (up to 8GB).  It is availbale now for $99.99 on contract after rebate in a choice of silver and purple colors.

Here's a nice rumor for ya: there is a story on the Wall Street Journal Blogs which says that the Palm Pre will be available on Verizon Wireless in January 2010. As you know, for the next six months the device will be available exclusively from Sprint, but if Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam is to be believed, they'll be the next carrier to offer it. We'll wait and see.

As we expected, Verizon has released the long rumored Casio EXILIM C721 cameraphone for all its customers. The phone comes with a 5.1Mpix camera with autofocus, image stabilization, and a 3x optical zoom, and is fully compliant with mil-spec 810F for dust, shock, temperature, and water resistance. Other highlight include support for 8GB memory cards and compatibility with Verizon's VZ Navigator service.
