Surprisingly, Bluetooth SIG has recently certified the upcoming Motorola W766 (codenamed "Harmony"), and published some photos of it. This flip phone is really nothing special, and is all set to replace the low-end W755. Expect the release to take place in a couple of months on Verizon.

Besides the Casio Exilim there is another anticipated handset that has been launched yesterday by Verizon. The Motorola A455 Rival looks similar to the LG Neon, and is a mid-end touchscreen handset with a 2Mpix camera, EV-DO data support, GPS (VZ Navigator), and microSD expansion (up to 8GB). It is availbale now for $99.99 on contract after rebate in a choice of silver and purple colors.

Here's a nice rumor for ya: there is a story on the Wall Street Journal Blogs which says that the Palm Pre will be available on Verizon Wireless in January 2010. As you know, for the next six months the device will be available exclusively from Sprint, but if Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam is to be believed, they'll be the next carrier to offer it. We'll wait and see.

As we expected, Verizon has released the long rumored Casio EXILIM C721 cameraphone for all its customers. The phone comes with a 5.1Mpix camera with autofocus, image stabilization, and a 3x optical zoom, and is fully compliant with mil-spec 810F for dust, shock, temperature, and water resistance. Other highlight include support for 8GB memory cards and compatibility with Verizon's VZ Navigator service.
