After the recent set of photos LG has finally officially announced the Viewty Smart (LG-GC900). The handset features:

• 8Mpix camera: ISO 1600, LED flash, multi-face detection;
• LG's 3D S-Class UI;
• 3" WVGA touchscreen display;
• HSDPA;
• A-GPS;
• 1.5GB internal memory;
• microSD card expansion

Some new pictures of the LG Viewty II have surfaced today. In addition, there was a blog post on LG’s German blog hinting that the device was actually called the Viewty Smart. But consider it a rumor, as this is not official, and the post has been deleted.

• 12.4mm thin, 90g;
• S-Class 3D UI;
• 3" WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) t

According to the latest rumors, the LG's ahticipated GC900 Viewty II will be hitting Orange UK sometime in June. The phone comes with some impressive specs, including:

Reportedly, the popular LG Viewty will get a successor at this year's CeBIT show. The upcoming LG GC900 Viewty II will probably take the center stage at the expo with all the fine feartures it has to offer. Unfortunately, no pics, prices, or dates were attached to the speclist. As of today LG offers the white version of its popular LG Viewty. The handset is also available in silver, red, pink and purple.
In case you forgot, the LG Viewty is a 5Mpix cameraphone with a 3" touchscreen, manual focus, image stabilizer, ISO 800 mode, and the ability to record videos at 120 fps and upload them directly to YouTube.

LG has released a "Hot Red" version of its Viewty 5Mpix cameraphone in Ukraine.

We don't know if it will be available in other markets, but we can say that the new look is apparently destined to attract some female attention to the phone.

The price hasn't been announced yet, but we wouldn't expect it to change.

Just to let you know. I wonder why LG decided to add a new purple version of the LG Viewty cell phone.

The specifications remained the same, and the color itself is unpleasant. Do you like it? The purple Viewty that is...

Anyway, the choice is yours.

LG presents a downgraded version of the LG KU990 Viewty for the Chinese market.

The new KE990 model offers support for EDGE data instead of 3G HSDPA, but other features seem to have remained the same.

Replacing HSDPA with EDGE will reduce the price and increase battery life.

Just to inform you, the popular LG Viewty is now available in three colors: Black, Silver, and the newly added Pink.

Besides that, no specs have been changed. Expect the pink Viewty to appear in Europe in a couple of weeks.
