Vodafone UK has announced the new business-centric Samsung C6625 today. The phone features:

• Windows Mobile 6.1 OS;
• Full QWERTY keyboard;
• 2Mpix camera;
• 320 x 240 screen;
• Microsoft Exchange for e-mail, calendaring, contacts;
• HSDPA 3.6 Mbps

Unfortunately, the lack of Wi-Fi almost makes it a no-dealer, and the keyboard feels uncomfortable.

The recently released Samsung Jet is currently available in the UK for free, literally. Of course, this deal is only available if you get the phone along with a 2-year contract and a minimum £20 per month plan. But it still sounds good, doesn't it?

In case you didn't know, Vodafone has released an official firmware update for the BlackBerry Storm 9500. The new OS 4.7.0.148 build is available via the BlackBerry download site. Backup your data before installing.

Vodafone will be the exclusive carrier to launch the new Nokia 6730 classic, S60-based smartphone, which should be available sometime this month. The handset is completely customized to fully support Vodafone services, and has the following features:

Samsung's C6625 Valencia is coming to Vodafone, and nothing will stop it. It's currently listed at the company's website as the C6625v, and will feature HSDPA supprt, a QWERTY keyboard, and a custom Windows Mobile Standard skin. We expect it will be available with contract at no charge, so here's a good opportunity for some of you to get a WIinMo based device for free.

The HTC Touch Pro2 has recently appeared on Vodafone UK site under the Business phones category. There's no price for it, but we're sure it will be heavily subsidized when it starts selling. For some reason Vodafone has added a space in the phone's name, thus calling it the Touch Pro 2. The expected released date is June 5th, though this is is just a guess.

Vodafone UK customers using either BlackBerry 9500 or 9530 Storm can now update their handsets to OS 4.7.0.141 - an OFFICIAL update from the carrier. Yes, with all the numerous leaked OS versions, an official one looks like a big deal.

Vodafone Germany and HTC have announced the availability of Android-powered HTC Magic on the German market. The handset will cost you as low as one Euro depending on the chosen plan (minimum of €44.95 (about $59) per month). Or you can get it for €59.90 on a €24.95 plan, which isn't too pricy.

Vodafone has surprisingly announced the launch of the HTC Magic, the company's second Android handset, in Spain. This means that Spanish subscribers will get to enjoy the phone 8 days earlier than the rest of us. Of course, everything has it's price, and the phone won't come cheap.

Vodafone has notified its subscribers via email that the HTC Magic is now available for pre-order. Although most users already know about that, notifications are always useful if you don't keep track on the new and upcoming handsets.
