Briefly: as expected, AT&T has officially released the LG Vu.

The prices include $299.99 with a 2-year contract and a $100 mail-in rebate, or $549.99 sans contract.

It's official. AT&T Mobile TV will be launched on May 4th in 58 markets, including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, Seattle and Washington, D.C, and others.

The new service will include 10 channels, two of which will be AT&T's exclusive (PIX and CNN Mobile Live). Moreover, there will be a bonus music channel, CNCRT, available just for the first 60 days.

Canadian Rogers Wireless announced its plans to launch the handset in Canada in early May. The phone will feature HSDPA connectivity and will support various Rogers' services including Video on request, Radio on request, mobile TV and Rogers Music Store.

Yesterday at CTIA Wireless AT&T has officially announced the upcoming LG Vu.

The phone is said to become available in May and should coincide with the launch of the company's mobile TV service.

Unfortunately, no pricing details were announced...

The LG Vu phone for AT&T, which was supposed to be launched yesterday, will most likely be released on Monday, as the carrier has already distributed promo materials in the stores.

We certainly hope there will be no more delays.

AT&T will soon be offering the new LG CU920 "Vu" , the carrier's first handset to support digital TV.

The exact release date wasn't announced, but the phone is likely to appear in December or in the beginning of 2008.
