It looks like Sony is working on a new Walkman slider phone, which will appear pretty soon. The name is Sony W999i.

This slider will most likely feature HSDPA connectivity, 2.4" 262K color QVGA screen, a 2Mpix camera with autofocus, and should be about 12.5mm thick.

Sony Ericsson announced the new W660i Walkman Phone. The device is available in two colors Black and Rose Red. The W660i runs on UMTS 2100 and GPRS 900/1800/1900 Networks and features TrackID so users when need to identify a piece of music simply record a few seconds of the track and TrackID sends the clip to the Gracenote Mobile MusicID database. And quickly receives the answers back to your phone.

Sony Ericsson announces two new Walkman phones. The first one is W880i and the second is W610i. The W880i is the slimmest Sony Ericsson phone being just 9.4 mm thin. As it was announced by Cingular Wireless L.L.C., two music phones will be added to Cingular cell phone offerings. Both models are Sony Ericsson's walkmans.

The first handset to be released will be Sony Ericsson W300i and the second one is Sony Ericsson W810.

According to Kelleigh Beal, a Cingular spokeswoman, this action was taken to extend Cingular's music-related services.
