Check out the new EGP-WP98, the first quad-band GSM watch phone running Windows CE 5.0.
For "just" $629.95 you'll get a water-resistant watch with a 266MHz CPU, a 1.45" display with handwriting recognition, as well as a 1.3Mpix camera, Wi-Fi, a T-Flash expansion slot, multimedia player and built-in Bluetooth. Specifications may change, though.
Anyway, for those who want a cool gadget for their extra cash shipments will start on April 25th.

A member of the xda-developers forums has developed a notification utility called smartWatchM, which allows for certain data interchange between a Sony Ericsson MBW-150 Watch and Sony Ericsson phones or Windows Mobile based smartphones. For instance, if you receive a message or an incoming phone call, or if you're listening to the music, the corresponding info, such as type of the message received or current song details is displayed on the watch's screen.

Turtle Wireless is a new phone manufacturer that will debut at the upcoming CES expo with its TWP-800 GSM Watch Phone. The device will feature tri-band GSM/GPRS networking, stereo Bluetooth, MP3 and MP4 playback, a small touch-sensitive screen, and will come with a choice of cool B-Dazzle branded accessories.

Taiwanese manufacturer ePrice introduced its third M-Series watch phone. The new M800 has the same features as the previous model, but comes in a smaller and slimmer 70 grams body. The device features a 1.3" touch-screen that supports hand writing recognition (for this purpose it has a small extendable stylus slotted nicely into the belt), two built-in speakers and microphone, and an included Bluetooth headset.

Sony Ericsson has released yet another Bluetooth watch, called the MBW-150, which is supposed to be used in coordination with SE mobile phones. The OLED screen displays information about the song being played at the moment, and there are also controllers for adjusting the volume and skipping tracks.

Harris Interactive has conducted a research and found that consumers are open to receiving advertisements on their cell phones. The research covers current levels of consumer interest in mobile phone advertisements, preferences and the willingness of consumers to be profiled. It emerged that 35 percent of adult cell phone users are willing to accept incentive-based advertisements such as 78 percent said the best incentive would be cold hard cash, free entertainment downloads and discount coupons.

Sony Ericsson and Fossil unveiled the MBW - 100 Bluetooth Watch. Sony Ericsson provided Bluetooth 2.0 technology for this devive and Fossil supplied with watch technology and design. The MBW - 100 allows users to control calls and music from the watch, users have the possibility to view text message alerts also. When a call comes in, the name or number appears on the OLED watch face.
