While there's a lineup of upcoming high-end HTC smartphones scheduled for H2 launch, Palm doesn't intend to fall back and is set to release its new Treo 800w on Sprint in the near future.
The handset will be available on July 22 in Charcoal Black color scheme.
Here are some of its known features:

- Windows Mobile 6.

Nokia 6210 Navigator has passed the FCC hurdle.
The phone is basically the same as its predecessor, the 6110 Navigator, but has a better 3.2Mpix camera with dual-LED flash, Wi-Fi and runs the new version of Symbian S60 OS (3.2). Expect the 6210 Navigator to hit Nokia's Flagship stores in New York and Chicago later this the year.
No word on carrier partners as of yet.

FCC has approved the rumored Motorola A1600 MING 2 smartphone.
Judging by the available documentation this phone is for the Asian market and is not planned for a stateside release. But if you really want it, there's no problem in buying it outside the U.S. and bringing it back home, as it supports for quad band GSM, which allows for worldwide usage.
Other features include Linux OS, a 3.

Here's a fresh rumor: Nokia's new E71 smartphone will probably be released on May 8th in the U.S.
It will feature a slim body, 3.5G data support, GPS, Wi-Fi, a camera with autofocus and a full QWERTY keyboard.

AT&T started selling WiFi-less BlackBerry 8110.
This model looks like the BlackBerry Pearl 8120; it comes in a choice of red and "titanium", lacks Wi-Fi, but adds GPS navigation instead.
You can get the 8110 now for $149.99 after contract and rebates, $50 cheaper than its counterpart.

Check out the new EGP-WP98, the first quad-band GSM watch phone running Windows CE 5.0.
For "just" $629.95 you'll get a water-resistant watch with a 266MHz CPU, a 1.45" display with handwriting recognition, as well as a 1.3Mpix camera, Wi-Fi, a T-Flash expansion slot, multimedia player and built-in Bluetooth. Specifications may change, though.
Anyway, for those who want a cool gadget for their extra cash shipments will start on April 25th.

FCC has unveiled a new mid-range Wi-Fi enabled clamshell from Samsung called t339. It will soon be available from T-Mobile and even supports the carrier's HotSpot@Home service. Wow...
Apart from the above mentioned, this is a mediocre phone with medium specs and an ugly design, but you choose whether to buy it or not.

Samsung has recently unveiled its first HSUPA-enabled (advanced W-CDMA) smartphone model called SCH-M470.
Apart from that, the M470 features 2Mpix camera, video telephony, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, push email, and web access with Google search.
Available only in Korea for approximately 600,000 won or $615.

FCC has recently revealed the new Samsung SGH-i788, and apparently it is the U.S. version of the existing i780 model.
It is quite possible that the new model won't feature all the same specs as its older brother (HSDPA, GPS or Wi-Fi may be lacking on this one), but it will surely keep the touchscreen, and will most likely run the latest Windows Mobile 6.1 OS.
