Apparently, the
launch of the anticipated RIM BlackBerry 9000 will be delayed until
July or August, instead of late May as previously rumored.
The device
will be available from AT&T and will feature integrated GPS,
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, 2 or 3.2
megapixel camera, as well as support for GSM and 3G HSDPA networks.

The newly unveiled upgrade to the Nokia 6300, the 6300i model, sports Wi-Fi connectivity, which allows it to make VoIP calls near any Wi-Fi hotspot.
However, to make and receive calls via VoIP you have to be subscribed to some service provider like VoIP provider Vonage, Packet8 or Skype.
Anyway, the phone should be available in the Q2 2008 for EUR 175 ($275).

T-Mobile announced the
availability of the new BlackBerry 8820 for its HotSpot@Home service line-up.
The smartphone is Wi-Fi- and GPS-capable, and takes
advantage of Blackberry Maps, as well as TeleNav and myFaves
services.
This model lacks the camera, which could mean that 8820 is
a business device. Other features include microSD slot supporting up
to 4GB, Bluetooth, voice dialing and many more.

BGR made a little review on the Wi-Fi-capable Motorola Q9 smartphone. The phone they've received was AT&T branded and had with a chrome bezel instead of the dark silver one. Besides the 3G bands (HSDPA 850/1900 MHz) the device also supports Wi-Fi network, which appears to be the main difference of this model from the standard one.
