Velocity Mobile has introduced a new skin for Windows Mobile 6.1. They've showed the interface before, but this time it's finished off. Velocity has noted that the new skin can be downloaded OTA, and no PC sync is needed.
We'd still prefer the TouchFLO 3D UI over this, but nevertheless it looks better than the standard WM 6.1 design.

Motorola and AT&T have recently announced the the new MOTO Q Global handset, available exclusively to AT&T customers. This WM 6.1-based smartphone comes in Silver color and costs just $149.99 with a two-year contract and qualified voice and data plans. See the full speclist below.

Bluetooth SIG has recently leaked the future successor to the Motorola Q9h, the Q11 model. Almost nothing is known about this phone, apart from that it wil run Windows mobile 6.1. So we'll have to wait to find out more.
I bet this question bothers you all: "What happened to the Q10 model?"

HTC today unveiled the stylish S740, the successor of the S730, that combines features of the Touch Diamond and a non-touch-screen Windows Mobile Standard device. It has usual numeric keypad and a physical QWERTY keyboard that slides out from the side. The HTC S740 features:
- HSDPA 7.2 in the 900/2100 bands, quad-band GSM;
- 528 MHz processor;
- Windows Mobile 6.

AT&T is going to start selling Motorola Q9h in new chrome/silver color.
This smartphone will come with Windows Mobile 6.1.

This is the recently leaked Motorola Alexander, an upcoming Windows Mobile handset with the following known specifications:
- Windows Mobile 6.1 (looks like Windows Mobile 7);
- 5-8Mpix camera;
- NVIDIA 3D graphics chipset;
- A-GPS

This one is probably Chinese... Clearly a rip off device, this handset steals the branding from OQO (manufacturer is not OQO, according to UMPC Portal), while at the same time imitates the design of some of the Palm’s popular smartphones. But the main thing is that the OQO G900 runs Windows Mobile 6.1. How they managed to get a license from Microsoft is a mistery, but it wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be a modified version, taken from another handset.
