Need we say more? Check it out!

Since there are some new pictures of the upcoming Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 aka Vulcan, we can expect an official announcement to take place in the near future. On these images we see the X2 hanging around with its failure brother, the Xperia X1.

If this rumor is true, Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 will be officially announced tomorrow, June 17 at ComunicAsia event in Singapore. This picture serves as an argument to this statement. Surely this sounds cool, but keep in mind that nothing is confirmed right now, and don't be surprised if Sony Ericsson announces a completely different phone tomorrow.

Apparently this is Sony Ericsson "Vulcan" X2, the successor to the original X1. One can clearly see the X Panel button in the lower left of its front and a Windows key in the upper left of the keyboard, which adds a bit more credibility to the pic.

It is probably a very early prototype, or a good mockup, but in any case it's plausible, and we'll be definitely looking forward to new details on the X2.
