Nokia X5 revealed

Nokia has unveiled the latest entry in its X-series called the X5. It is a mid-range handset, aimed at offering some decent features with an attractive price point. Those features include:

  • Touchscreen display;
  • 3G/HSDPA connectivity;
  • Bluetooth;
  • 170MB of internal storage;
  • 5Mpix camera (not sure if Carl Zeiss)

Pricing and the exact release date are still up in the air.

Nautiz X5 Rugged Touchscreen Phone

The Nautiz X5 is a new rugged Windows Mobile 6.1 based touchscreen handset, produced by Handheld Europe. It's a the most feature rich rugged device on the market, and apart from the speedy 806MHz Marvell CPU, it is capable of withstanding temperatures ranging between -20°C and 55°C. X5's features include:

  • GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA connectivity;
  • 3.5" TFT touchscreen with 480 x 640 resolution;
  • SiRF star III GPS chip with InstantFix II;
  • Wi-Fi;
  • Bluetooth 2.
