The phone in the title is actually the HTC Touch Diamond 2, renamed tastelessly by the carrier. Currently O2 is selling it for €420 (about $568) contract-free in Germany.

Today O2 Germany has announced the new Xda Guide, coming to replace the previous Xda Orbit 2. Same as its predecessor, the Guide is an exclusive to O2, so don't expect it to appear on any other carrier.

Global Certification Forum (GCF) has approved a new smartphone, developed by Asus for O2, the O2 Xda Zest. Currently the details are scarce, we only know that it will run Windows Mobile, like all Xda's, and will feature tri-band GSM/UMTS 2100 radios, as well as video telephony and web browsing.
