The new Philips Xenium X520, previously known as 9 @ 9j is nearing its release. Same as its prototype, the X520 will be able to work on AAA barteries. The fll feature set is posted below:

Remember the Philips 9@9k released about a year ago? Then you'll probably notice its striking resemblance with the "new" Xenium X500. The phone represents nothing special, only the supposed 2-month standby is something worth mentioning. The phone will be released sometime in the near future in Russia, Turkey, and Romania.

Philips' Xenium line-up is known for its extra-long battery life, and the latest addition to the series, the X600, is not an exception. It offers two whole months of standby time, and amazing 16 hours of talk time, which is perfect for any traveller.
However, the specifications here are not so impressive; the phone supports tri-band GSM/GPRS, and has a microSD slot and a music player.

This is a product rendering of the future Xenium X-Connect phone by Philips.
It is a Windows Mobile 6 based smartphone with a 3" touchscreen, and such goodies like 3G UMTS/HSDPA radios, GPS receiver, AA/AAA battery backup, microSD slot, and Bluetooth 2.0 all powered by a 624MHz Intel processor.
Unfortunately, Philips Xenium cell phones are primarily found in Asia Pacific region, so we wouldn't count of seeing this one in Europe or U.

Philips has upgraded its Xenium 9@9 smartphone by changing the ordinary screen to a touch-sensitive one. But that's not all. This new model, called btw Xenium 9@9v, also features handwriting recognition (why not, when you have a touchscreen?), dual-SIM card support and a hardly believable 1 month standby time.

FCC has approved the Philips Xenium. This device is an entry-level phone with a clean interface and a 65k color screen; it's also equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera. It is a GSM phone with the usual T9 interface for text input. There are such features in the phone as a calculator, money converter, organizer and a world clock and a couple of basic games. You can record audio up to 12 minutes in duration.
